We at Tech+IP Exchange, LLC (collectively “TIP-X”, and its subsidiaries and other controlled affiliates (referred to as “us”, “our”, or “we”) respect your online privacy and recognize your need for greater clarity regarding our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information that we acquire from your use of our websites that link to this Privacy Policy, including www.tip-x.cc(“Website” or collectively “Websites”). Some of this information constituted personal data, i.e. information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, further described below (all such personal data processed by us collectively “Personal Information”). We process your Personal Information only in accordance with the content of this Privacy Policy and the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the GDPR. Processing means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaption or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

This Privacy Policy describes (i) the types of Personal Information we may process when you visit the Website and (ii) our practices for processing that Personal Information. This Privacy Policy applies only to Personal Information collected on or through the Websites. It does not apply to information processed by (a) us, or on our behalf, in person, through the mail, by telephone, or any other means, or (b) any third party, including, without limitation, through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Website. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. If we make material changes to how we process Personal Information, we will notify you through a notice on the Website and/or by sending you an email to the last email address you provided to us. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon the earlier of thirty (30) calendar days following our dispatch of an email notice to you or thirty (30) calendar days following our posting of notice of the changes on the Website. We therefore encourage you to review the Website from time to time to stay informed of how we are processing Personal Information. These changes will be effective immediately for new users of the Website. If you do not wish to permit changes in our use of your Personal Information, you must notify us prior to the effective date of the changes and discontinue any further use of the Website. Any use of the Website following notice of such changes shall indicate your acknowledgement of such changes. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page.

Information We Collect and How We Do It

We may collect and process the following Personal Information about you when you visit the Website. Use of Personal Information

In general, the Personal Information we process is used

However we process your Personal Information, we make sure that such processing complies with the law, and the law allows us and requires us to use Personal Information for a variety of reasons. These include in particular:

  • where we have obtained your consent;
  • to perform our contractual obligations with you;
  • where we have legal and regulatory obligations that we have to discharge;
  • to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights or for the purpose of legal proceedings;

We have implemented certain measures reasonably designed to secure Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential and for complying with any other security procedures that we notify you of. International Transfers
